Our Passions

Conservation & Research

Conservation and research are central to my work and life’s passion. For over a decade, I have had the opportunity to work for organizations committed to being earth’s caretakers, entrusted with conserving and continuously collecting accurate data to protect wild places.

During my career, I have been successful at increasing community involvement in citizen science projects, leading biologists in the field, and designing protocols to collect quantitative and robust field data. I dedicate my work to supporting environmental projects that enrich biodiversity and communities through plant and wildlife conservation and management. My current focus is determining ways of better serving other ecological projects dedicated to enriching biodiversity by providing pollinator survey services and monitoring population trends.

Climate Change Action

I feel that climate change is one of the pressing issues of the 21st Century. With growing concerns about ecosystem disruption, it is more important than ever that we collectively take the role of being environmental stewards. I’ve been lucky to have the opportunity to work alongside conservation organizations taking decisive action in the face of the challenge of climate change. Our human activities influence climate patterns, and severe weather events could impact vulnerable species and their habitats. I want to continue to support actionable climate change projects. My focus is on projects that monitor strategies that ensure the maintenance of healthy populations and distributions of species. Also, that focuses on implementing forest management strategies and urban landscapes that mimic natural processes and examine wildlife well-being.
