Established Circle Ecology, LLC, to provide innovative ecological consulting services with a focus on biodiversity conservation, habitat management, and wildlife research. As the founder and lead ecologist, I oversee all aspects of the business, delivering tailored solutions for nonprofits, government agencies, and private organizations.
Key Responsibilities and Achievements:
-Conduct comprehensive ecological assessments, including wildlife and plant surveys, habitat evaluations, and data analysis.
-Design and implement habitat management plans to support conservation initiatives.
-Utilize advanced GIS tools (ArcGIS, ArcMap, Survey123) and R programming for data-driven decision-making and reporting.
-Lead and train teams of biologists in field techniques.
-Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to develop sustainable conservation strategies and ensure environmental compliance.
-Successfully managed grant-funded research projects, including studies on pollinator dynamics.
-Presented research findings at prominent events, such as the Colorado Pollinator Summit, to advocate for effective conservation practices.
